VINTAGE BUBBLE CUTS

Beautiful dark blonde Bubble Cut. Mattel, 1963 11 1/2'' tall. Excellent to almost near mint condition. Fantastic beautiful all original face paint, this dolls a winner. Beautiful medium Bubble Cut hair set is near mint condition, tons of tiny curls and waves, tons of highlights, some dark, some light. Beautiful perfect original dark, dark, brown eyebrows, NO RUBS. Fabulous original coral lip paint, only a few micro dot chips on the lip paint have been professionally filled-in, 100 percent undetectable. Beautiful hint of eye-shadow, big bright vivid blue eyes. This doll is extremely nice. Her original Midge/Barbie body is fantastic, very clean. Original coral nail paint is at 98 percent. Body limbs are nice and tight. Torso has only a HINT of very, very, very, light playwear. This doll looks like she was never used, never played with, probable only played with 1 or 2 times if any. Vintage Fashion Queen

Beautiful all original Fashion Queen, Mattel 11 1/2 inches tall, 1963. This doll has really no problems at all, head is near mint condition with tons and tons of original Smokey eye shadow, fabulous original eye paint and eyelash ridge paint, beautiful perfect NO RUBS original dark chestnut brown eyebrows, beautiful original coral lips, this doll has a hint of original factory cheek blush, just amazing, extremely beautiful Fashion Queens are really hard to find, this Queen is just fabulous. I would say head is completely near mint condition, her painted hair has only 1 or 2 tiny micro dot rubs, the tiny rubs have been filled and they are 100 percent undetectable, she has her original blue head-band with only one or two tiny micro dot holes, extremely hard to see. Her Midge/Barbie body is extremely nice, I would say her body is excellent too almost near mint condition with only a few tiny micro blue/brown dots to her arms and legs. Torso is beautiful with only a few tiny, tiny, scratches here and there. Coral nail paint is at 75 percent with a few paint chips refilled and sealed, the look is just out of this world, this dolls is 100 percent beautiful and the condition is just amazing and her price is wonderful at $58.00 . VINTAGE MIDGE

Very Rare Free-hand Paint Titian Midge. This doll is extremely beautiful, she has the really unusual shiny titian hair color, the really intense screaming red almost carrot looking color, not the dark dull stiff-ish dull copper color that so many Midge's have. Also this Midge has really unusual huge thick fat front bangs, I have never seen a Midge with such big bangs, I just love her hair set. The hair set is in near mint condition with no problems. Her original free-hand painted face paint is also in near mint condition, its very easy to identify a free-hand painted Midge, the original freckles, eyebrows are much more pronounced, the freckles are larger than the normal Midge, also the eyebrows are much larger and much darker, also the eye paint color seems so much more vivid. Her head is in near mint condition with no rubs, cuts, scratches, splits, pinholes or pinpricks. Her body is excellent condition, very, very, very, light playwear?. I see a few micro blue dots on her legs. One very light scratch on her back, near her upper left armhole. One very light scratch on her upper back, near her right armhole. Original coral nail paint is at 98 percent, so vivid it looks re-painted but it is original. Both arms and legs are very nice and tight, they hold a perfect pose. I really don't think this doll was played-with, I think she was just pushed around a bit then stored a few times over the past 40 years. Molded/Painted Hair Midge, Mattel S/L 11' 1/2 Tall. SOOOO hard to find this doll in near mint condition. Outrageously beautiful near mint condition head, only 1 or 2 micro dot hair rubs, beautiful original dark eyebrows, darling perfect coral/pink lip paint, just a hint of the darker color shrinking. Her body is in excellent condition with only a few tiny scratches here and there, right leg hip joint is only a tiny bit from the factory smaller then her left. Her nail paint is original and at 98 percent, I did fill a few chips, impossible to see. From the factory her right leg is 2 millimeters longer than her left, very hard to notice. doll is outstanding, she comes with her original orange headband. Nude. $134.00

SKIPPER, SKOOTER, RICKY

Skooter  -  Mattel.  1964. S/L ( Brunette ) 9'' tall.    This Skooter is in near mint condition with all original face paint, no scratches, no problems what so ever she does have a tiny factory ripple on the left thumb, so small you cant hardly see unless you have a magnification lamp. She has her original red hair ribbons, shoes, swimsuit top and bottom, stand, booklet, brush and comb and box, replaced paper liner, the box is in good condition with light shelf wear and a small repaired hole on the front of the box down where it says junior fashions about 6 millimeters by 6 millimeters, also a tiny black line about this size( l ), also the box has old yellow tape ghost at all four corners but the tape ghost where (watercolor) painted out. The box also has 3 corners split but have been repaired and a lot of watercolor paint touch-ups to the shelf wear and the corner splits. On the side of the box it has the paper missing from the middle photo of Skooter, on her skit and half her top but it was touched up with water color paint and you can hardly notice that the paper is missing. Inside the box top, on the inside it has 2 repaired tares, both are about 1'' inch long, also inside the box top are 2 old yellow tape ghost. On the box bottom it has a few creases, also one of the side panels of the box has been replaced,  with another box panel, very hard to see because after it was replaced the box bottom was sprayed out in white flat paint, it still shows the original price tag for 1.99 I know the box condition sounds not so good but trust me it looks very nice and would display wonderfully. Her original rubber bands have completely disintegrated, I have replaced them with new ones.  $110.00

      M.I.B.   Skipper  -  Mattel.  1965. B/L ( Blond ) 9'' tall. You will not find a nicer bend leg Skipper, near mint condition, unreal blond hair is in mint condition, hard to find original peach frost lip paint, this doll has never been played with, original lip paint at 100 percent, peach color is barley staring to turn to dark butter color, blush is unbelievable, light peach frost with a berry hint, fabulous. Perfect original eyebrows, the best original brown eyeliner on a Skipper I have ever seen, look at her eyes in the photo, WOW . Body is in near mint condition with only a very light small , light, light, blue stain on her left ankle, very hard to notice, 1 microscopic pinprick to her right upper foot, I think its from the factory, very, very, hard to see., microscopic torso scratches here and there, undetectable. Hair is wonderful, much lighter than pictured, so soft, so shinny, never combed. Original box is also fantastic, no seem splits, a few tiny dents and dings here and there, a few tiny paper rubs, a few small creases, it displays in excellent condition, the box bottom is replaced with a copy/fake, looks very nice, the only part of the box most people want  to show-off is the box top anyway. Near mint original booklet, stand, shoes, brush/comb, headband, swimsuit, the swimsuit has a tiny 1/2 millimeter fuzz-ball at the back, very, very, hard to see, otherwise its near mint. $174.00

Ricky  -  Mattel  1965. S/L. (Red Hair) 9'' tall. Hard to find in near mint condition, this one is, RARE (Pink Skin-tone) very hard to find. Fabulous hint of pink blush, that's very rare, Ricky has the typical arm fading but only about 3 percent over both arms, that's a miracle, 1 or 2 tiny black factory dots in his hair, very hard to see. This beautiful set includes original paper insert, that has two small tears about 1/4 inch by about 1/4 inch peace missing. Doll has Original WRIST TAG, near mint black stand, near mint booklet, near mint shorts, near mint sun jacket, near mint sandals. Box is excellent to near mint condition.  M.I.B. $156.00

Fantastic set, the condition is so nice, if your looking for a beautiful Ricky with no problems, this is the Ricky for you, his value will continue to rise. Original face-paint is near mint to mint condition, beautiful original peach frost lip paint, original frost peach cheek blush is outstanding, painted hair is perfect, its so hard to find a vintage doll in such nice condition, body is near mint and never played with, very clean, no handling dirt, original wrist tag is also nice with only a tiny professionally repaired split, the tiny split is nearly undetectable, he comes with his original cellophane bag that holds his near mint sandals, swim jacket, swim trunks, booklet. The original cellophane bag did have allot of damage, I re-melted the bag end, now it displays very nicely, hay at least its the original bag, that's the most important thing and it displays beautifully. The white box bottom is in excellent condition with only light yellowing, light foxing, light paper-rubs, light self-wear and a few small light creases, NO HOLES, NO SEAM SPLITS. The box top is in very good condition with NO SEAM SPLITS, 1 corner has a 6 millimeter small paper tear, not bad at all, very hard to notice, all 4 sides of the box are very nice with only 1 small 5 millimeter water spot to the right upper right box side, very hard to see, 3 tiny little indents on the left side, very hard to see, box end top has a small amount of old sticker residue where the old sticker was, the price sticker is long gone but the sticker left its old yellow sticker glue, I see foxing ''inside'' the box top, the front of the box has a large crease that runs down the left side of the front of the box, about 4'' inches long by about 1/2'' inch wide, the crease is still flat and it did not cave-in the box front, this box is very firm and tight as it should be, all the graphics are nice and clear, all in all this is an extremely beautiful set, anyone would be very proud to display this wonderful doll and box. $125.00   #61

KEN, ALLAN

Extremely Rare Beautiful Condition Bend Leg Allan.
This bend leg Allan doll is just outstanding, beautiful unused head with the most unusual face paint I have ever seen, his original lip paint is just unreal, its a really beautiful shade of mauve, just beautiful. His cheeks have what look like a light hint of blush, the blush is original factory, I have never seen blush of a Allan doll before, very unusual. His head also seems to have a softer feel, the vinyl on this Allan is not has hard as a normal straight leg Allan doll, very unusual. I would say his head is in excellent unused almost near mint condition with only a few tiny paint dot chips to his painted hair. The tiny paint chips have been professionally filled-in, the approximately 8 tiny paint chip dots are extremely small. With the dots now filled-in the painted hair appears in near mint condition. His torso and arms are in unused near mint condition, just beautiful. His bend legs appear never used, probable never bent more than once or twice, I have bent the legs and they are perfect, both legs are extremely tight and hold a perfect pose in all 3 positions, just outstanding. I see NO bits or chews, also I seen NO pinholes or stains to the legs. I do see on the upper legs 2 tiny, tiny, indents. The tiny indents are from the dolls legs resting on the vinyl when the doll would have been posed in the sitting position. The two tiny dents are extremely hard to notice, the tiny, tiny, dents did not cut deep into the vinyl. This doll is very beautiful and I really don't think you will see another bend leg Allan in this condition with this price, really good price at $125.00, outstanding clean and unusual doll. #432

Allan  -   Mattel  1964.  S/L. (Red Hair). 12'' tall. I have this doll in never played with condition, near mint with no hair rubs. This doll has every thing so crisp and clean, it has a replaced paper insert, excellent condition original box, near mint shorts, near mint booklet, near mint sun jacket, near mint black stand, near mint sandals, and rare near mint two page booklet that was inserted in his original box just before he was shipped out from the factory, all very nice, his body has only tiny scratches here and there, you need magnification to see most of the tiny scratches, his head color of-course is darker than his body. Box top has only medium shelf-wear here and there and 3 professionally repaired seam splits, hard to notice, the graphics are wonderful, clear and crisp, box end has only about a 3 or 4 millimeter piece of the original paper missing, not bad. The inside box top is nice and white with only a tiny bit of foxing. The box bottom is very nice also with only a bit of yellowing and light shelf-wear, no seam splits, the box looks really good. ''WOW'' the best is for last, this doll has one of the rarest of all Barbie items. ''The Vertical strip sun-jacket'' VERY HARD TO FIND, they did not produce very many at all.  $128.00

Accessories so crisp and clean, box has a replaced paper insert, excellent condition original box, near mint shorts, near mint booklet, near mint sun jacket, near mint black stand, near mint sandals, all very nice, his body has only tiny scratches here and there, you need magnification to see most of the tiny scratches, his head color of-course is darker than his body, total of 6 blue stains on the inside of his thighs, very hard to notice, the stains are from wearing his original shorts way to long, this doll is wonderful, looks 100 percent factory new, you will not find a nicer Allan. Box top has only medium shelf-wear here and there and a few tiny dents and dings, no seam splits, the graphics are wonderful, clear and crisp. The inside box top is nice and white with only a tiny amount of very light paint rubs where his head has rubbed against the box inside top, very hard to notice. The box bottom is very nice also with only yellowing and light shelf-wear, no seam splits, a few light handling dirt here and there, also a few light stains, trust me, the box looks really good. Condition is near mint in box. $98.00

Talking Ken    -  Mattel    1970  12'' tall.   Bend-leg. This is as good as it gets, the doll is pristine mint condition, trapped in time inside his box, no paint rubs, no color fading, wrist tag is still firmly attached, I cant believe how nice this doll is, no fading to his beautiful pristine swimsuit, his box has allot of small creases and it look like someone has touched-up the paper-rubs with paint, very hard to notice, the view window has normal typical tiny scratches here and there, all the graphics on the box are very clear, as are all the words, box top flap has a light amount of creasing and wrinkling, all in all displays in near mint condition, it looks so good sitting on my shelf, its amazing how nice original boxed dolls can display, good price at $145.00

New Good Looking Talking Ken    -  Mattel    1968  12'' tall.   Bend-leg.  WOW what a beautiful doll, his condition is near mint, no hair rubs, beautiful face paint, no rubs, shin color has no fading, he looks brand new, legs hold and click in all positions, a few very light scratches to the legs, almost undetectable, legs have no cuts, no dirt, a few very tiny scratches to the torso, almost undetectable He is wearing his very hard to find red  Mod Nero jacket and matching red swim trunks, this is a wonderful doll, ready for display, he will display in mint condition, his jacket and swim trunks are in near mint condition with only a tiny amount of handling dirt, almost undetectable, all in all just a near perfect doll, never played with, just removed from his box and set aside, of course he is mute. $75.00

1968 Twist N' Turn Julia with her original very hard to find white one piece nurses uniform and hat. The horrible photo shows no face paint detail. The nurses uniform shows very little wear, very light yellowing here and there, almost undetectable, slightly limp from handling, not bad, dress and nurses hat display in excellent condition. This Julia has beautiful dark auburn hair, very, very beautiful, perfect hair set, a bit stiff from hair spray, its worth it to look this good, face paint is phenomenal, dark rich shade of dark berry blush, wow, all face paint is at 100 percent, no fading, no problems, rich dark brown original eyeliner, face/head is near mint condition original eyelashes are at 100 percent, fabulous dark coral fingernail paint, you will be shock when you see this doll, her beautiful dark brown body is in excellent condition, no splits, no pinholes, cuts, scratches, no chews, no fading, etc,. Her left leg is 2 millimeters longer than her right leg, not bad, very hard to see, both legs click and hold 3 positions, no splits behind knees like most of the Mod dolls have, 1 tiny 2 millimeter cut/scratch at her right ankle, not the front of the ankle, the back of the ankle, very, very, very, hard to see, torso has a few very light scratches and rubs here and there, also legs are a tiny bit dirty from handling, not bad, also a few very tiny discoloring spots here and there, I'm 99 percent sure they will wash right off, it doesn't matter if they don't wash off because they are so small no one will ever notice them anyway.
